Object: After a big, outdoor festival at the park is over, the grounds need some cleaning up. Can you help? Recyclable items need to be placed in the Recycle Bin, but there’s not much time because the Recycle Truck is on its way! The object of the game is to help put the recyclable items in the bin before the Recycle Truck reaches it for pickup. But, uh-oh, a monkey is taking recyclable items and throwing them on the ground. Can you put them back in the Recycle Bin in time?
A Cooperative Game: Race to Recycle! is a cooperative game, meaning all the players work together. Everyone wins (or loses) at the same time when all the recyclable items are in the Recycle Bin. Research shows that cooperative games foster friendships and help to prevent bullying. Includes game board, game pieces, and instructions.
Teaching Focus: Children learn about recycling, practice counting skills, and develop fine motor control. Just cut out pieces, tape, and go! For 2 – 4 players ages 3 and up.
