Book Reviews
For My First Grandchild I loved the book, Hope sees her Condor. It is adorable, lovely, fun and deserves a wide readership of parents and children. I shall save it for my first grandchild. Although I am not a birder I have been to several bird sanctuaries in Florida. --Ruth Kovner, New York City A Special Day Question: What is better than a picture book with gorgeous illustrations? Answer: A picture book with gorgeous illustrations PLUS a delightful story Hope Sees Her Condor is about a day spent with Grandpa, but not an ordinary day. Grandpa and Hope go birdwatching (or “birding”) on the mountain, spotting different birds, pictured in this lovely book. Then, the huge condor flies overhead, amazing to see. And after this remarkable experience, there is another surprise that brings this wonderful book to its satisfying conclusion. This is a special day for Grandpa and Hope and a special book for the child in your life. --Betty Farber, M.Ed. Early Childhood Education, New York City 5.0 out of 5 stars Never stop birding !
